PLU is home and school to
more than 3,000 students from the Pacific Northwest and around the world.
Students come from all walks of life. The PLU community consists of
students of different backgrounds - the traditional 18-22-year-olds,
returning adults, ROTC members and exchange students – and over
700 staff members, faculty and administrators. What does it mean to
be a PLU "Lute"? How does one's experience at PLU mesh with
one's experience in the community? What does it mean to lead "lives
of service", as the PLU mission statement reads? Through this section
of the project, we will attempt to shed light on attitudes of PLU students
towards the university and the community.
