Transition Int'l Student Orientation Schedule

Transition Int'l Students are those who are degree seeking freshmen, transfer or graduate students. Transition Int'l Students first enroll in Transition English as a Second Language Program.

IMPORTANT!

  • Mandatory Orientation begins on 9AM on Monday, August 31st. Please make your travel arrangement accordingly.
  • There will be no make-up English assessment test. If you miss the test you will automatically be placed into Transition Phase I for the Fall 2009 semester.
  • FREE airport pick up is available to your homestay, Study Group residence or apartments. Contact Judith Leng Lawrence (jlenglawrence@studygroup.com) to arrange pick-ups.
  • Please bring your passport, I-20 and previous immunization records for verification on Monday, August 31st.

  • 9-10AM || Transition Student Welcome & Orientation (REQUIRED)

    • Please bring your passport, I-20 and any health history record from your home country.
  • 10AM-12PM || ePass Set Up and Math Assessment Test (REQUIRED)

  • 12-1:30PM || Group Lunch (RECOMMENDED)
    • Lunch will be provided by Study Group
  • 1:30-4:30 || Campus Tour (REQUIRED)
    • LuteCard, Library, Health Center, Garfield Street and East Campu

    • Meet at UC 150 Diversity Center. Take bus #1 to Museum of Glass. Bring $1.75 * 2. Exact change is needed. 

  Thursday, September 3 (NSO begins)

  • 10-11AM || New Transition Phase II Student Class Registration

  • 10AM-3PM || Local Services Fair (Open a bank account)
