New Student Orientation

On The Road - students in pottery class

September 5 – 6, 2015

On The Road is a fun, exciting activity that takes you off campus to learn about your community and your fellow lutes. Trips are designed around service, cultural experiences, and exploration.

Registration ended on August 20th.

Some trips will reopen on Friday, Sept. 4th at NSO Headquarters.

Trips range in price from free service trips to tours, hikes, museums, and more in the greater Tacoma area that range in price from $10 to $25. Every new student is welcome to register for an On The Road trip, which will allow you to build community with other new students.

Past trips have included biking at Point Defiance, hiking at Mount Rainier, kayaking, Tacoma Art Museum, Museum of Glass, photography tour, service trips to Tacoma Rescue Mission and L’Arche Tahoma Hope Farm.

A vibrant campus tradition in which new students explore various aspects of their new Tacoma home.
