The New Year is off to a terrific start and we’re happy that you are a part of the PLU Family!
On September 1st, we welcomed new students to the campus. Nearly one thousand freshman and transfer students joined the student leaders and student athletes that had arrived the two weeks prior. Throughout the weekend we welcomed our returning students back to campus and now it feels as though we are ready to begin again.
After several days of orientation, pre-season athletic contests and "settling in" we officially kicked-off the year September 6th at Opening Convocation. That time honored tradition was followed by the annual Involvement Fair—a time for students to shop for co-curricular activities and organizations to complement their rigorous academic schedule.
Throughout the year, Parent eNews will be delivered to your email box monthly from the Office of Alumni and Constituent Relations. If you would like to ensure that we have your address, please go to the PLU Parents website and send us your address. In addition, you can always find the most recent version of the eNews at that same website. This website contains a copy of the Parent Handbook, invitations to events, helpful links, and much, much more.
