Garfield Book Company Events

January 13: VIKINGS IN THE ATTIC Book Signing
6:00pm - 8:00pm, Garfield Book Company
In Vikings in the Attic, Eric Dregni tracks down and explores the significant - often bizarre - historic sites, tales, and traditions of Scandinavia's peculiar colony in the Midwest. Dregni reveals the little-known tales that lie beneath the surface of Nordic America and proves by example why generations of Scandinavian-Americans have come to love and cherish these tales and traditions so dearly. Dregni will be in to sign books and discuss his work.

January 17: Mystery Lovers Book Club of Tacoma
6:30pm - 8:00pm, Garfield Book Company
Enjoy facilitated book discussion with mystery enthusiasts, great reading lists, and conversations about all-things mystery. It is not necessary to register or purchase the reading selections. Mystery Lovers Book Club meets on the third Tuesday of the month from 6:30-8 PM. Location rotates to Garfield Book Company every third month. Theater

January 25-28: The APO One-Act Festival
7:30pm, Eastvold Auditorium
PLU's chapter of Alpha Psi Omega, the national theatre honor society, presents its annual One-Act Festival. Join us for a night of three student directed One-Acts that explore all facets and style of theatre. Recklessness by Eugene O'Neill, directed by Frank Roberts; Otter Pops by Alex Eddy, directed by Corissa DeVerse; Poor Little Doggy by Myia Johnson, directed by Thomas Robinson.
Tickets are $3 for PLU Community, and $5 general admission.
