All students, graduate and undergraduate, must apply for graduation via BannerSelf-Service (BannerWeb). Students login to Banner, select 'Student Services', select 'Student Record' and click 'Apply to Graduate'.
Undergraduate students (who started at PLU prior to the Fall 2010 semester) must also submit final Academic Program Contracts (APCs) for each major/minor they wish to receive by the appropriate deadline. APCs are completed by visiting the Department Chair and getting their signature in the ‘Graduation Clearance' box. APCs are submitted to the Student Services Center.

After the application deadline, graduation candidates receive a detailed timeline outlining the graduation process. This timeline and all graduation and commencement information is sent to the candidates' PLU E-mail. Candidates are responsible for all information sent to their PLU E-mail and should see Information Services immediately if they experience any difficulty with their PLU E-mail Account.
Degree evaluations are completed for all undergraduate students who have applied to graduate. A degree evaluation is a complete review of a candidate's degree completion status. In order for a candidate to receive a comprehensive evaluation they must have all final APCs on file with the Office of the Registrar. Degree evaluations are sent to candidate's via their PLU E-mail. Candidates are strongly encouraged to carefully review their evaluation and contact the Office of the Registrar with any questions. Candidates are responsible for the information on the degree evaluation and are responsible for addressing any lacking requirements as listed on the evaluation.
Candidates for graduation/degree completion must complete ALL requirements by the stated deadline to receive a degree. Candidates who fail to complete their degree requirements by the deadline are not awarded a degree and are notified in writing. No degree can be awarded unless all requirements are met and all final grades are submitted by the deadline, this includes final grades for I (incomplete) and IP (in-progress) courses.
