X. Conduct Records

X. Conduct Records

All Student Conduct hearings are closed to the public and the proceedings are to remain confidential to protect the privacy of the individuals involved.  Minutes, audiotape and/or video recordings of the hearing may be taken by the Conduct Body.  Such records may not be copied or released and are destroyed after the appeal period for the incident has ended.

The Student Involvement and Leadership Office maintains individual student conduct records for three years after the student graduates or for three years after the student leaves Pacific Lutheran University.  Records of students who have been suspended or expelled from the university may be kept for an indefinite period of time.
