Center for Teaching and Learning

The Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL) began in the fall of 1992.  It took over the work of the Task Force for Teaching and Learning, a grass roots faculty group that had developed a tradition of involving university faculty, on an entirely voluntary basis, in workshops, discussions and consultations throughout the year.

The Center continues to nurture faculty culture by encouraging conversation about teaching and learning, provide opportunities for faculty to develop their pedagogical skills and serving as a place for conversation with peers across disciplines.

Throughout the year, CTL offers a broad range of programming:

Faculty Development - workshops available to all faculty

Programs and Services - SGID consultations, Table of Contents service, Teaching Grants
