Hebrew Idol Contest Finale
April 15, 2010 - 6:00 PM - 8:00 PMAdministration Building, Room 101

Students in Religion 211, "Religion and Literature of the Hebrew Bible," are called to reflect on the contemporary relevance and significance of the biblical material they are studying. They are also asked to come up with their own interpretation of a biblical story. The fruit of their efforts takes the shape of a class presentation and a biblical interpretation paper. In the past three years, PLU students have produced some enjoyable and thought provoking DVDs for their class presentations. Hard work and creativity ought to be recognized and rewarded. The "Hebrew Idol Competition" was conceived as the forum through which the PLU community will select and reward the best of these video productions. The first part consists of an online voting that will determine the top three videos that will make it to the final round. The top three videos will compete live Thursday, April 15, in front of a panel of judges for the prize and the title of PLU Hebrew Idol 2010.
