Living on Campus

Part of living on campus at PLU is moving into or out of the Residence Halls.  Whether you choose a traditional or non-traditional hall there are many things you can do to make the transitions smooth.

Arriving

Settling into your new home at PLU is an exciting event.  In order to make your move as easy as possible, check out the quicklinks for other campus offices that can help make your move a smooth one.  To find out when the halls open, when Orientation begins, or other pertinient information.  Please check out our Important Dates page.

Early Arrivals

Early arrival on campus is available only to a select group of students starting Sunday August 30th.  If you are a student leader or involved with a group that will be arriving early to campus, all arrangements will be made through your coach/advisor.  International students may also arrive early and need to work through International Student Services.  Please contact the Office of Residential Life with any questions or concerns at rlif@plu.edu

Departing

When you are ready to say goodbye, whether it is just for the summer or for graduation, there are still a few details to consider.  Make your moving out easy by checking out properly.

Students who are withdrawing from the University mid-semester or who are eligible to live off campus, may check out at any time.  Please schedule a check-out with your RA/CA in order to avoid improper check out penalties.

Students withdrawing from the University should check out within 24 hours of the withdrawal.  Please refer to the Housing Guide and Contract for any cancellation penalty dates and amounts.
