Canceling an Application

2009-10 Housing and Meal Plan Cancellation Form Information

The combined meal plan and housing application and contract is a binding agreement.  If you wish to cancel housing, make note of the dates below to avoid a cancellation penalty.

To review PLU’s Residency Requirement, click here. Students who submit a cancellation form, but are ineligible to live off campus, will not have their housing and meal plan cancelled and will be contacted by Residential Life.

Cancellation Timeline & Penalties

To avoid a Contract Cancellation Penalty, students must complete the Contract Cancellation Form before the dates listed below. 

Fall Housing Assignments

South Hall--April 1

$200 Penalty

Spring Housing Assignments

South Hall--December 1

$200 Penalty
South Hall--May 1 $400 Penalty South Hall--January 1 $400 Penalty

Fall Housing Assignments

Traditional Halls-- June 1

$200 Penalty

Move-Out Dates and Check-Out Process

Studetns who cancel their housing are still required to follow the established move-out dates and times provided in the Housing Guides which can be found here.  Additional information can be found at the following links.

Online Contract Cancellation Form

Your PLU ePass is required to cancel your housing and meal plan contract.  An email confirmation will be sent to your PLU email address upon completion of the online contract cancellation form.  Residential Life  strongly recommend that you keep a copy of this email for your records.
