Staying on Campus During Winter Break
Traditional residence halls (all except South Hall) will close for Winter Break at 6:00 pm on Friday, December 18th and will re-open at 1:00 pm on Sunday, January 3rd. Winter Break Housing is available for those who need on-campus housing during this break for $15.00 per day.
Depending on need, double rooms may be filled with two students per room. South Hall will remain open during Winter Break with no charge to current South Hall resdidents who are returning for J-term/Spring.
Residents will be required to relocate to the designated Winter Break Halls. The deadline for registering for break housing is Monday, December 7th. Students who apply will receive their Winter Break Housing Assignment on December 11th. Submit now.
During Winter Break there is no mail delivery to the halls. Mail Services is open limited hours in the morning and students can pick up there mail directly from Mail Services. Please call for hours of operation at X7438.
Meal Plans are not available during the Winter Break period. Old Main Market remains open for limited hours and residence halls have kitchens for all residents to use.
Campus Safety is a 24 hour, 7 day a week operation. If you need to contact Campus Safety during the break period, you can be assured that the office will be open.
