Winter Break Housing
If you need Winter Break Housing, be sure to sign up by December 6th, 2011!
Staying on Campus During Winter Break
Traditional residence halls (all except South Hall) will close for Winter Break at 6:00 pm on Friday, December 16th and will re-open at 1:00 pm on Monday, January 2nd. Winter Break Housing is available for those who need on-campus housing during this break for $20.00 per day.
Winter break students will be assigned to double rooms with a roommate. South Hall will remain open during Winter Break with no charge to current South Hall residents who are returning for J-term/Spring as per the South Hall Contract.
On Saturday, December 17th, between 8:00 am and 10:00 am, residents will be required to relocate to the Winter Break Hall. During Winter Break there is no mail delivery to the halls. The deadline for registering for break housing is due by 8:00 am, Tuesday, December 6th. Students who apply will receive their Winter Break Housing Assignment on December 14th. Submit now.
Items to note:
Mail Services is open limited hours in the morning and students can pick up there mail directly from Mail Services. Please call for hours of operation at 535-7436.
Meal Plans are not available during the Winter Break period. Old Main Market remains open for limited hours and residence halls have kitchens for all residents to use.
Campus Safety is a 24 hour, 7 day a week operation. If you need to contact Campus Safety during the break period, you can be assured that the office will be open.
