Wisdom From Hinderlie Residents

The summer before coming to PLU, I was incredibly nervous for the academically rigorous and busy year ahead of me. My high school teachers did an excellent job of preparing me academically and mentally for the challenge ahead, but at the same time, probably took a few years off my life through anxiety. Yes, my classes were difficult and yes, I needed to study. But, success in college was not this impossible, unattainable goal that my mind had made it out to be. I found that by managing my time well and working efficiently, I had some spare time to myself. Not to mention, I had many opportunities to bond with my new friends from class and from Hinderlie.
