About PLU Banner
Mercy Daramola, Resident Director for Ordal and Stuen Halls: "PLU has been a great place to grow as a professional. Working at a small private school has meant that we are able to work with colleagues all over campus and create professional relationships that are truly valued university wide. For example, entry level RD's are able to serve on conference planning committees with the VP of Student Affairs, there are many RD led committees within the department, and great opportunities for personal and professional growth"

PLU seeks to educate students for lives of thoughtful inquiry, service, leadership and care-for other people, for their communities and for the earth.

As a university of the first rank, Pacific Lutheran University seeks to maximize the achievement of its mission and become an internationally renowned model of the New American University, integrating a distinctive liberal arts college with one of the Pacific Northwest's premier centers for professional education.

Allison Carroll, Resident Director for South and Kriedler Halls: "I have really enjoyed working so closely with my Residential Life colleagues as well as other departments across campus. PLU is such a relational place which has really helped someone tasky, such as myself, understand and embrace the power of collaboration."
