Alums, parents and friends enjoy wine and make new friends at Oregon vineyard
PLU alumni, parents and friends gathered at the Rex Hill Vineyards and Winery in Newberg, Ore., on July 17 to enjoy exquisite wine and cuisine, renew relationships, make new friends and listen to a student combo play jazz under the stars.
The evening was hosted by PLU regents Don '74 and Kim '76 Wilson and Jeff Rippey '78; PLU parents Bill and Anne Buck, Bob and JoAnn Larson, and Bill and Donna Schlitt; PLU Alumni Board members and class representatives Chuck '58 and Carol (Bottemiller '57) Geldaker, and Nikki (Beard '73) Martin; admissions ambassadors Chris Tye '91, Dean '86 and Carey (Stakkestad '86) Pinto. PLU staff and faculty members in attendance included Darren Kerbs '96, Lauralee Hagen '75, '78; Ed Larson '57, '61, '80; Phil '56 and Helen (Jordanger '57) Nordquist; Doug Page and Laura Polcyn '75, '79.
