Do you ever get together with a group of your PLU friends to share a meal, watch a game, attend a Christmas Festival Concert or take a vacation trip? Your Alumni and Parent Relations staff love to hear about these gatherings and we think others will too. When space permits, we will be happy to print photos from some of these special occasions. Please tell us about these times so that we can share them with the readers of Scene.

East Coast alumni gather for summer
On Saturday, July 15, a small but enthusiastic group of PLU alumni met at the home of Al ('59) and Hildred ('60) Dungan in Allentown, Pa., for the annual PLU East Coast summer gathering. Grilled chicken breasts with potluck salads and desserts were on the menu, along with a lot of laughter and reminiscing about "what happened while we were at PLU." Next year's event will return to Gettysburg where they held their first gathering. All East Coast PLU alumni are encouraged to attend as they would like the group to grow.

PLU GOLD clubbers meets in four cities
PLU Graduates of the Last Decade, known as the PLU GOLD Club, held events in Tacoma, Seattle, Portland, and Minneapolis on the evening of Saturday, June 24. The events were hosted by alumni volunteers. With strong interest expressed in future events, members of the Alumni Board's Alumni Programs-Affiliations committee have already met to begin planning for future events in their areas. If you are interested in joining the planning team in any of these four cities or in another area of the country, contact the Office of Alumni and Parent Relations.
