Introducing TelALute!

The 2001 TelALute Team

Have you ever received a phone call from a PLU student asking for a your support? Then you know what telefundraising is all about. When you get a call from a TelALute, you should know this is something special. This group of students is committed to PLU and the motto of the university, "Educating for Lives of Service."

Under the guidance of Anne Gintz, new Associate Director of Annual Giving and Q Club, the organization raises money to help students continue their PLU education. Students who work for TelALute demonstrate their pride in ownership by decorating their calling room and each individual station. The TelALutes lived out the PLU mission last Christmas by using money (that otherwise would be used for a student party) to support a local, underprivileged family through the Adopt-a-Family program. They are great at what they do because they know what it means to give.
