If you don’t sign in, you won’t get paid for those hours. After checking in with the office, go to your assigned classroom and check in with the teacher.

How do I turn in my electronic Web Time timesheet?
A.

Please see the red “Web Time” entry for Students” handout.  You can also download this document from Student Payroll http://www.plu.edu/~payr/student-payroll/home.html

When do I turn in my electronic Web Time timesheet?

Illness is the only excused absence for missing your scheduled tutoring hours.  All other commitments must be scheduled around your job.  It is NOT OK to miss tutoring because you need to study for a test, have a meeting, etc.  Two or more unreported absences will result in an immediate dismissal.
What should I wear?
A. Your clothing and appearance should reflect the professional nature of your job.  Remember that the children will notice what you wear (as well as what you say and do!) and they will model your behavior.  Many of the children must follow strict dress codes at school, and all tutors must be sure that your attire is in line with these rules.  Please follow these dress guidelines:

·        If you wear jeans, make sure they have no holes or rips

·        Baggy pants that show your underwear are NOT allowed

·        Tank tops, half-shirts, and shirts with inappropriate logos or messages are not allowed.

·        Shoes must be appropriate for safety (no flip-flops!)
