Peggy started at PLU in November 2010. She grew up in Tacoma, and returned after a very long journey, which took her to Bellingham,WA; Santa Cruz, CA; and Syracuse, NY.  She has done fieldwork in the Oregon Coast Range, Montana, Alaska and the Carmel River, CA. While in upstate NY she taught various Earth Science courses for many years. Before coming to PLU, Peggy was the administrative assistant in the Dean's Office for the College of Arts & Sciences at Syracuse University.

She is very glad to no longer be buried in snow every winter.
