PLU is an integral part of Parkland, and therefore all members of the PLU community have a responsibility for the quality of the greater Parkland neighborhood. PLU expects all students to act safely, legally and neighborly and may intervene if students' behavior off-campus negatively impacts campus-neighbors or the on-campus community.
Any PLU student who lives off campus may be required to meet with a University official or referred to Student Conduct if the student engages in or acquiesces in behavior that results in (1) complaints by his or her neighbors; and/or (2) intervention by law enforcement. Any such incident will be recorded in the student's Conduct file for future reference. Any student who fails to participate in the meeting with the University official or the Student Conduct process will also be referred to Student Conduct for a "Disruption of University Community" policy violation.
