The Emerging Leaders Program is designed to help first-year students connect to involvement opportunities. Student participants will develop leadership skills, explore areas of interest, and meet other student leaders. Throughout their first-year at PLU, students can attend an afternoon retreat, learn about clubs and organizations, attend leadership development workshops, and connect to campus resources. The program is built upon three core principles: lead, link, and learn.
Lead: Develop and enhance your leadership skills! The Emerging Leaders Program helps bring students together to explore and develop their individual leadership style.
Link: Meet other students! We are here to enhance your first year experience by providing a point of contact to meet other first year students. You will also be able to connect with current PLU student leaders.
Learn: Learn about PLU and yourself! By joining, you will learn about your own leadership skills and gain awareness of campus resources and involvement opportunities.
