Student directed. Community focused.
Although academics are primary, co-curricular involvement is an important part of your college education. SIL recognizes that the development of the whole student is achieved through in-class and out-of-class learning opportunities and experiences provided through programs designed to enhance cultural, intellectual, leadership, personal, and professional development. When afforded these opportunities for learning and growing, students will graduate from the institution with a better understanding of themselves and their peers, as it relates to their organizations, chosen professions and responsibilities as part of a larger community.
