For more than 60 years, Who's Who Among Students has annually honored outstanding campus leaders for their scholastic and community achievements. By participating in this program, Pacific Lutheran University will be joining more than 2,300 institutions of higher learning across the country that nominate each year for the national Who's Who program.
Who's Who has been a leader among recognition programs. In today's world, on-going education has become the norm for many businesses and industries. Recognition of the individuals participating in graduate studies is as important to these businesses as it is to the undergraduates themselves.
Nominated students will be asked to submit personal information about campus and community involvement as well as academic awards and distinction. A committee of faculty, staff and students will review all submissions and make recommendation to the Vice President for Admission and Student Life. Recognized students will be acknowledged during the Celebration of Leadership in May.
PLU's committee, comprised of administration, faculty and students, will choose and enter its nominees. The Who's Who Among Students staff will then write directly to nominees, informing them of their selection. In addition, the recipients will receive local and national publicity and their accomplishments will be presented in this year's edition of Who's Who Among Students.
