Although academics are primary, co-curricular involvement is an important part of your college education. SIL sponsors campus programs that offer students opportunities for deep engagement with people, cultures, ideas and the environment. The purpose of this programming is to provide students with a rich array of opportunities to inquire into the human condition and world as they learn to care for, lead and serve within it. All PLU students are encouraged to get involved because of the many personal and academic benefits gained from involvement.
SIL promotes programs to assist students in developing environments which enhance diversity, encourage civic engagement, promote the establishment of meaningful interpersonal relationships, provide sleadership and experiential learning opportunities to find what the vocation of a student means to you!
