She also advises the Media Board, chairs the Student Leadership Institute, and coordinates initiatives related to the sophomore student experience.
Amber joined Student Involvement & Leadership in 2007. She is originally from Oshkosh, WI and while she loves the Pacific Northwest, she still considers the Midwest "home." She enjoys the opportunity to help students discover their talents, strengths, and passions. She is actively involved in the NASPA Student Leadership Programs Knowledge Community (SLPKC) and serves as the social media coordinator. She is very interested in supporting continued resource development for student leaders related to social justice, positive student development, and vocational exploration.
When she's not at PLU, you can find Amber on her yoga mat, discovering new restaurants in Tacoma, and cheering for the Green Bay Packers!
