Student Media Board Mission
The general purpose of the University Student Media Board, as outlined in the Media Board guidelines, is to act as the official representative of the publisher/producer of student publications/productions; to be responsible to the faculty; to oversee in an advisory capacity all phases of the operations of all student publications/productions; and to be the guardian of freedom and responsibility of expression for the publications/productions by establishing appropriate policies for all officially recognized media.
The University Student Media Board consists of student leadesrs from PLU's five student media organizations and two ASPLU appointed representatives, along with an advisor from each media and the Student Life appointed Media Board adviser.
