Students are allowed to continue working after graduation for both fall and spring graduates. However, they are allowed to work for only a small time period. Fall graduates may work through January 31st, and spring graduates may work until August 31st.
A student in need of a background check may begin working only after the employer receives the hiring confirmation. This is why it is a good idea to get the hire into JobX early.
The student can only work 40 hrs/wk in J-term if they took classes in the fall, and are enrolled in spring semester.
