Wang Center for Global Education

Hello from the Sojourner Advocates!

We're excited that you're interested in global education and study away!  As Sojourner Advocates for the Wang Center, we are here as peer support for students.  Whether you are interested in study away, are currently studying away, have returned from study away, or are just excited about the world we are great resources for you and other students.  We love to chat about study away programs, travel tips, and anything globally-related going on around PLU.

We would love to answer your study away questions; from how to locate the nicest beaches and the best ice cream shops (Boule de Neige for sure) in Martinique, how not to go entirely broke in Norway and still enjoy everything it has to offer, where to find the tastiest Kabab sandwiches in Granada (Kabab King), how to navigate the crowded metro in Mexico City, the second most populated city in the world, where to find the best pueblos from which to buy a hand woven rug in Oaxaca (Teotitlan), and how to get to Isla Negra, one of world-renowned Chilean poet Pablo Neruda’s three homes. Talking about study away and global education is what we LOVE to do, so please don't hesitate to contact us with any questions or comments!

Globally yours,
Sojourner Advocates 2012-2013
