Pacific Lutheran student, Sam Hosman, DIS Fall 2012, was awarded the Information Design and Information Design Foundation Studio Academic Excellence Award for the Fall 2012 semester. Architecture Program Director, Johanne Riegels Østergård said, "Apart from consistently delivering solid and professional design solutions, Sam’s contribution to studio on a social level has been an invaluable asset. Sam has also enrolled in the elective course, Danish Design.  Therefore he has been exposed to multiple scales of design, inspiring his work in studio to reach beyond the 2-dimmentional nature of a lot of traditional graphic design."
