Summer Programs

Approved Programs

If you are interested in summer study away, make sure to schedule an advising appointment. This is required as part of the application process.

Some Approved program provider organizations that we partner with offer study away opportunities during the summer. Apply through PLU before the March 15th deadline and double check the deadline to apply through the program provider organization. Applications open in November to study away the following summer. Let us know of any due dates prior to PLU’s Approved Summer application deadline.

Cost for Approved Summer study away includes the program fee determined by the provider that manages the program, as well as a $200 administrative fee to PLU. Please note that not all financial aid covers summer coursework; contact Student Financial Services for information.

IMPORTANT: Not all programs offered by the organizations we partner with listed below are on the list of PLU’s Approved Summer programs. To see if a program is Approved for PLU students, search for programs here. You will need to apply for the program through PLU first, and then through organization that manages the program.

“The PPIA experience was really life changing for me and has already opened up a ton of doors. It prepares you for graduate school in public service fields, introduces you to a great cohort of students who will be future leaders in their fields, and is a ton of fun as well. I highly recommend to anyone thinking about applying!”
