Biography
I am a senior Psychology major, from Doswell, Virginia. Since I began working in the Sustainability Department in 2011, I have worked on the unPLUg program for academic and student service buildings. unPLUg is an event in which buildings on campus are in a month-long competition with each other to see who can reduce their energy usage by the greatest amount as compared to the previous year. This past year, I have been working in the student lead position. In addition to recycling, I work on scheduling, and assist with ensuring the day to day operations of the department are working smoothly. Working in Sustainability has been an eye-opening experience for me. I have learned a lot about how to waste less, and be more sustainable in my daily life.
