Where: the Clover Creek Reserve in Pierce County (directions below) About the Property and Event: Clover Creek Reserve is an example of woodland Teamwork on Clover Creek prairie, an increasingly rare landscape in Pierce County. When it was acquired in the mid-1990s, blackberry brambles prevented native plants from growing along the creek. What to bring: Please remember to dress for the weather. Suggested Dress: Boots or comfortable athletic shoes, work clothes, rain gear and appropriate layers. Volunteers should bring a refillable water bottle. Snacks, drinks, tools and gloves will be provided. Directions: Clover Creek Reserve is located on Johns Street E, Tacoma, WA 98445. It is right where 6th Ave East turns into Johns St E. You will see a gate and a CLC event sign and you can park in the shoulder.
