
Sustainability Technician
This is the first year Sean has worked in the Sustainability Department at PLU. Sean developed an interest in environmental issues from his parents, Roger and Karen Andrascik, who have been rangers in the National Park Service in locations Sean has grown up in throughout the country. Roger and Karen have spent their lives working in resource conservation and environmental education. Sean is a Team Development Co-Chair on the PLU Relay for Life Committee and in addition will focus on the logistical efforts at this year’s event to increase awareness of sustainability through minimizing waste. Sean plans on creating awareness and educating team captains at Team Development meetings of environmental cancer related causes. Outside of recycling, Sean looks forward to working with Puget Sound Partnership. Majoring in Political Science with minors in Conflict Management and Communication; environmental protection is a concern for Sean as he seeks a career at the local and or state level of government.
