The policy prohibits the use of all tobacco products including cigarettes, smokeless tobacco, chewing tobacco, cigars, pipes, snus, snuff, and any other smoking product. The policy will not require faculty, staff or students to quit using tobacco when they are off campus.
The policy prohibits tobacco use in:
- All buildings on campus
- All PLU owned vehicles
- All privately owned vehicles parked on campus
- All outdoor areas considered to be a part of the campus including parking lots
The policy applies to the following people:
- Visitors, including anyone attending events on campus
