5 Ways to Make Your Start a great One

  1. Think about getting involved!  Check out the Clubs and Organizations website.
  2. Sign up for a commuter locker! – visit Student Involvement and Leadership in the lower level of the UC. Don’t forget to bring your own combination lock!
  3. Come to orientation! You do NOT want to miss this essential information and great time. Click here for the full schedule.
  4. Sign up for Peer Transfer Connections!- In Peer Transfer Connections (of PTC, as we like to call it), we pair new transfer students with more seasoned transfer students. You may share majors, interests, of life circumstances. Peer transfer partners may share information about resources on campus, facilitate tours or outings, introduce you to some of the professors you may have, and just be there as a good resource – and hopefully a new friend! To sign up or ask questions, email transfer@plu.edu or swing by Student Involvement and Leadership in the UC.
  5. Find a job! – Visit student employment for on and off campus job postings as well as hiring information.
