The Community Standards Module is a dynamic module that covers important policies and skills for new students to PLU. This module is mandatory and required for all new students to PLU. On August 1, 2013 instructions on how to complete the module and the due date will be sent to your PLU e-mail address. We thank you for your patience. If you have any questions, please contact conduct@plu.edu.

PLU offers commuter and residential parking passes, subsidized orca cards, walking escorts, and is home to a few Zipcars.

Check out which commuting option will work best for you HERE

Hint: Parking passes and Orca Card requests take a few days to process, plan ahead to get yours before the first day of classes

All newTransfer Students are invited to participate in New Student Orientation on September 5-8.  Opportunities at orientation include:

  •  A welcome from Dr. Tom Krise, PLU President
  • Common Reading
  • On The Road
  • Meeting other Transfer Students, faculty, and staff
  • Learning about the many services PLU has to support your success as a student
While we encourage Transfer Students to participate in as many components of orientation as possible, September 8th will be a Transfer Student specific day and is mandatory for all new Transfer Students.  Check back in July to RSVP to participate in Orientation, Common Reading, and On the Road.

The Garfield Book Company has a great website to search for the text books you will need for your various classes.  Book lists for Fall 2013 will be updated mid-summer

One of the best ways to know what is going on at PLU is to connect with your favorite offices and organizations via facebook and twiter.  Choose a few to follow during the summer so that you can connect with school starts in the fall.
