Bread for the World (The ONE Campaign)

The ONE campaign is an effort to rally Americans ONE by ONE around the emergency of widespread hunger, global aids, and extreme poverty.

Chicken Soup Brigade

  • Help coordinate the deliver of food from the kitchen to clients’ houses.
  • Give clients rides to and from appointments.
  • Provide in-home chore help. Organize and package fresh food.
  • Assist food preparation in the kitchen.
  • Serve dinner in downtown Seattle.
  • Collect and transport food from local grocery stores.
  • Help staff with filing, phone calls, mailings, data entry and work on the website.
  • Work at the front desk.
  • Work behind the scenes to market and develop special events.
  • Join the Speakers Bureau team at tabling events, fairs, and presentations.
  • Price merchandise, design window displays, and assist customers at their local thrift stores.

Help serve, prepare, or clean up after hot meals. Become part of the largest hot meal program for the homeless community in Washington.

Nativity House

Located in downtown Tacoma. The Nativity House is a place of respect and welcome. Provides day shelter, meals, community and personal assistance to the homeless. Volunteer to help prepare or serve a meal, hang clothes in clothing room, clean or visit with guests.
