Reaching out to the world
The Wang Center Grant program encourages new global initiatives, internationalizes the curriculum and fosters student involvement in academic research. Each year, the Global Education Committee awards grants to qualified students, faculty and student-faculty research teams.
The Wang Center offers a wide range of opportunities for students who are interested in going more in-depth with global education at PLU. Students who have already had a significant amount of cross-cultural experience are encouraged to complete an international independent research project. The Wang Center gives yearly grants to students who are interested in this opportunity. Students are welcome to arrange an independent research project with a PLU faculty member that involves international travel. Students must be cleared and registered by the Wang Center. In accordance with good practice for study abroad, the Wang Center will provide students with pre-departure information and/or forms related to health and safety.
Please contact the Wang Center for application instructions and more details.
