We're all sojourners
Pacific Lutheran University has a wonderful and long tradition of welcoming newcomers to our community and sending out adventurers to all parts of the world. We learn from all of them. People who are new to PLU, as well as those who go out and return to our campus with fresh perspectives.
In many ways, at PLU we are all sojourners. In fact, you will often hear the term used around campus. A sojourner is someone who lives in a particular place for a prolonged period of time, someone who is exploring and developing an understanding of other people and other cultures, someone on a journey of discovery. That’s the PLU experience.
