Norwegian Cabinet Minister Svein Ludvigsen will speak on behalf of the government and people of Norway. The evening includes presentation of the Wang Center Peace Builder award and musical entertainment. Limited seating. Advance registration required. Admission charge in addition to symposium registration.

8:00 p.m. Global Encounters: An Intercultural Concert

Lagerquist Concert Hall, Mary Baker Russell Music Center. Featured performers include the Collegium Vocale from Hedmark University College, Pacific Lutheran University Choir of the West and members of the University Wind Ensemble, Hedmark University College Folk Ensemble, Native American drummer and storyteller Elaine Grinnell, and a premiere organ composition by David Dahl. Concert included in symposium registration fee. Seating limited.
