Fri, March 4: Educate Yourself!

  • Green Dot 201 training for Staff/Faculty or Students

Green Dot 201 is a workshop that teaches participants how to prevent potential incidents of power-based personal violence. The training equips participants with tools to identify "red dots" (potentially high-risk behaviors) and effectively intervene by doing a "green dot" to counteract the red dots. The workshop is interesting, engaging and practical. Register at greendot@plu.edu.

  • Queer Ally Network Faculty Training

Join PLU's Queer Ally Network by completing a 3-hour workshop on LBGTQ issues and resources.

Tues, March 8: International Women's Day!

Celebrate the 100th Anniversary of International Women's Day!  We will screen the inspiring film, "Where the Water Meets the Sky." Faculty panel discussion following the 60 minute film.

Celebrate inspirational PLU women on March 30th in the Scandinavian Cultural Center.  The event will feature a silent auction as well as showcase the 1000 PeaceWomen Across the Globe exhibit.  Nominate a PLU woman who inspires you and she will be recognized at the event.
