Women’s History Month – March is Women’s History Month! Email the Women’s Center at firstname.lastname@example.org to find out how you can become involved in programs and events during March to recognize and celebrate the contributions women have made in the world!
International Women’s Day – As part of Women’s History Month, International Women’s Day is March 8th! Celebrate the women who have made contributions in the world and a difference in your life!
The Vagina Monologues – Join us for an evening of monologues about being a woman! Monologues vary each year, but topics often include love, sex, rape, masturbation, menstruation, orgasm, and more! Auditions are held in the fall, for those interested in participating.
Elect Her – Elect Her is a unique workshop that encourages collegiate women to participate in student government and teaches them the skills to succeed in leadership positions.
Sexual Assault Awareness Month – April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month! Contact the Sexual Assault Peer Education Team (SAPET) at email@example.com or Voices Against Violence at firstname.lastname@example.org to find out how you can participate in or even plan an event!
Take Back the Night – Take Back the Night is an event that aims to shed light on the violence that women face. Join us for a march and rally in Red Square where women and men share their experiences and speak out against violence that affects women!
Celebration of Inspirational Women – Every year as part of PLU’s Celebration of Women’s History Month, the Women’s Center sponsors an annual celebration of inspirational women from across the PLU community. A new theme is featured every year. Thanks for celebrating with us!
