Nov. 22 ECON 315 Chosen for 7 Continents  bLog

ECON 315 has been chosen to provide bLogs while we are abroad in support of PLU's 7 continents campaign.  We need 2 tech-savvy students to attend a meeting on Monday, November 28 from 4:45 - 5:30 pm to discuss methods.

Nov. 22 Professor Avner Greif to speak to ECON 315

Through the generous funding of the Benson Family Chair in Economic History, Professor Avner Greif of Stanford University will speak to students enrolled in ECON 315 at 1:45 pm on Friday, December 2.  Professor Greif is an economic historian and empirical I/O researcher who has examined the role of reputation and commitment in solving collective action problems surrounding the medieval Mediterranean trade of the Genoese Maritime Republic, among others.

The presentation will be in Xavier 150 at 1:45 pm on Friday, December 2.
