PROGRAM OBJECTIVE ~

Collaborate in the design, management, and coordination of care.

PROGRESS TOWARD OBJECTIVE:

Current progress made toward this objective includes the coordination of care required during clinicals. In order to achieve the best possible care for the residents it was required to work together as a team. The LPNs, CNAs as well as the nursing students had to collaborate together in order to provide the best possible care. I have also gained knowledge on design, management and coordination of care from reading the residents medical record daily during clinicals. This allowed me to see what steps the doctors and other resorces (ie physical therapy) were making toward imporving my clients health. I was then able to help implement those changes or just simply become aware of the progress of lack of progress my resident was undergoing.

I have also learned duing NURS 260 about all the health care team and how working together is one of the most important asspects of nursing.

PLAN FOR ACCOMPLISHING OBJECTIVE IN FUTURE:

My plan for accomplishing this goal in the future includes completetion of various clinical rotations.
