The mission of graduate education at Pacific Lutheran University is to: (1) increase the breadth and depth of knowledge in the liberal arts; (2) increase students' knowledge of research being done in their field or concentration; (3) to develop students' abilities to do independent study and research; and (4) to enhance students' professional abilities.
PLU offers four graduate programs – business, education, nursing, and social sciences (marriage and family therapy). The PLU admissions office provides informational materials and processes all applications. Each department determines admittance into a graduate program. The directors of the various programs can provide additional information and answer questions. Select the program of your choice along the right panel to find out about the program, the application process and requirements as well as deadlines.
