International Financial Aid

PLU is pleased to have a financial aid program for international students. This is a listing of current grants and scholarships.

International Grant
Eligibility:   International students
Amount:   $2,000/academic year
Comments:   Replaced by Nordic Grant, Norway-America Grant, The Americas Grant.

Nordic Grant
Eligibility:   Nordic students (Norwegian, Swedish, Finnish, Danish) living on-campus
Amount:   Equivalent of double occupancy room and meals (except South Hall, where meals are not included).
Comments:   "Double occupancy room" represents the amount of a double room in a residence hall. "Meal plan" represents the meal plan selected by the student. Replaces International Grant.

The Americas Grant
Eligibility:   Citizens of countries in North, Central and South America (excluding U.S.) living on campus.
Amount:   Equivalent of double occupancy room and meals (except South Hall, where meals are not included).
Comments:   Must live in a PLU residence hall. Replaces International Grant.

Norway-America Grant
Eligibility:   Admissions application submitted by Norway-America Foundation. PLU selects up to three new students each year.
Amount:   1/3 of tuition, room (at double occupancy rate) and meals.
Comments:   Must live in PLU residence hall. Replaces Nordic Grant.

Summer Nordic Nursing Students
Eligibility:   Students in the Masters Nordic Nursing Program.
Amount:   Single occupancy room and meals three consecutive summers.
Comments:   Students attend only during the summer.
