Transfer, International, and Graduate Students

Pacific Lutheran University maintains a commitment to students from every educational background and from every country. We strive to help all students continue on their individual path toward completing their undergraduate or graduate degree in higher education.

• Each year over 40 percent of new undergraduate PLU students are transfer students from two and four-year colleges. Our Registrar's Office evaluates all transfer records and provides advising materials to assist students in completing their university requirements.

• International students who are qualified academically, financially, and in English proficiency are encouraged to join the university community. At least 25 countries are represented by approximately 225 international students each year.

• Graduate study programs are offered for Master of Business Administration, Master of Arts in Education, Master of Science in Nursing, and Master in Arts Marriage and Family Therapy.
