In order to live a successful life we have to think critically. Living in the United States for almost four years has been a great experience.I have lived in three different cities in the States. The first year was in Olympia, WA, and there where I've learned English. In 2006, I made a big move from Olympia, WA to Chester, PA, I went to Widener University for two years. In 2009, I moved back to Washington State to pursue my Business Degree at Pacific Lutheran University. I am proud to say that during my experience in three different cities and three different schools I have been challenged to think outside the box and made decisions that impact my future. In order to become creative we must believe that everything that we are doing in this life is ethically right. However, thinking outside the box is important in order for us to create opportunities for ourselves that are not just competitive, but more importantly, creative. Being competitive may push us to the top for just a while until someone else come up with a better idea and steals our spot.
Thinking critically helps us to become more creative and we can achieve our goals and face obstacles in a creative way that few individuals have in their baggage. Doing so well make us have the ability to find ways around things and be able to gain advantage over other people.
Cultural Experiences
I was born in a small village in Saudi Arabia, and I haven't left that village until I was 15 years old. I have been to so many countries in the Middle East, Egypt, Syria, U.A.E, Bahrain, Jordan, Oman, and Lebanon. Most People in the Middle East share the same culture, religion, language, and food. Since I was 15 years old, I was so eager to know about people in the West, I wanted to know about the Western culture, religions, languages, literature, and food. In 2005, at the age of 19 my dream has became true, I've got a scholarship from the Saudi government to study abroad in the United States.
