The understorey
layer of the Rain Forest contains vines, small trees, ferns and palms. Plants of the understorey remain green all
year and include a number of household plants including: anthurium, caladium,
colocasia, philodendron and garden callas.
Common Animals: Snakes, frogs, parakeets, leopards, jaguars, and the largest concentration of insects.
