Nursing 260 - Professional Foundations

In this class we worked in groups to produce a paper and presentation on a particular topic.  Our group chose to present on physician assisted suicide.  This was an incredibly valuable experience for me.  On the one hand, it highlighted the very good work that is possible with the power of several minds as opposed to just one.  On the other hand, it also made clear some of the potential challenges of working as a part of a team and the sorts of negotiations and flexibility of all team members that are needed for teams to work together effectively.

Nursing 270 - Health Assessment & Health Promotion

In the lab for this class I had the opportunity to work together with a partner which has enabled me to get to know the person and learn for his experience.  We have learned from each other and learning occurred for each of us that would not have happened on its own.

Nursing 280 - Pathophysiology

This class was a very demanding course which was made more achievable with the support and assistance of my classmates.  Additionally, we had a group paper and power point presentation which went very well.  This was a wonderful experience that showed the best of what working in a group can be.
